As Patrick and I ate dinner, we talked about the things we wanted to do at the camp and in the area.
“Can you ask the boys to join us for the time at camp?” I asked
“you want to see them?” Patrick inquired
I nodded “yes, I think it’s time to start living and not hiding behind my amnesia. I figure may be seeing Stephen Ali might spark something in me. I want to remember Patrick. Not knowing why am is driving me nuts.”
Patrick smiled “that’s a good sign Carrie. The guys want to see you and make sure you’re actually okay.”
“Good. Please arrange a visit. Oh, and I had another dream while I napped.”
My husband looked at me and raised his eyebrows “oh yeah, what happened?”
“It was the day before camp was supposed to and early. I went swimming just to clear my head.”
“Yeah, go on.”
“I was doing my laps in the red pool when someone tried to pull me under. I managed to get to the surface and yell, but the person swam off.” I explained
“what happened then? Patrick wanted to know. “The lifeguard asked if I was okay. I faked it and said I had a cramp in my foot then got out of the pool. When I looked to the end of the pool heater was there smirking and daring me to say something, I just grabbed my towel and left the area. However, I did tell my counsellor go but I asked her not to report Tina.”
“Why not? You could’ve nailed that baby psycho to the wall!” Patrick implored
“first of all, I had no proof. Tim, the lifeguard never saw anything. All I have was this feeling that it was Tina. No one actually saw her do anything.”
Patrick shook his head, but he understood. “I can only hope that Alf and Rich can find Tina and get some answers.
I admitted that I had to agree and we continued eating.
